Love a cozy vibe, but not a fan of loud colors? Look no further. This minimalist touch is perfect for a soft and relaxed ambiance around the house. Plus, it takes little to no time to do!

Fairy lights are inexpensive and can be found in any store with a home décor department. We simply strung the lights through our snake plant in no particular fashion - the more undone the look, the better. It may look disorderly at first, but trust us. Once you turn on the lights, it'll make sense.

You can easily string fairy lights over mirrors, gallery walls and anywhere in the house to create this laidback mood. Traditional Christmas lights can sometimes feel overwhelming or might clash with your existing décor, so fairy lights are the perfect solution.
