Throwback Thursday: UTR in Condo Living Magazine
It’s Throwback Thursday time! This week we’re reviewing a great article called “Reflections, Some Thoughts on Decorating With Mirrors” that appeared in Condo Living magazine.
Condo Living is a local Calgary magazine that covers everything about new condos, from design and decorating ideas to the latest in flooring, furnishings and housewares. In the November 2006 issue, Liette talked about decorating with mirrors.
“The purpose of mirrors is not only to check yourself out,” Liette said. “Mirrors can open up a space, add light to a room and even make low ceilings appear to be higher.” Another tip Liette offered was: “When you’re hanging larger mirrors, make sure you like what is reflected; a doorway, bathroom or a messy room will detract from the effect you’re going for.”
The great tips offered in this piece are still all valid eight years later. In fact, these tips proved to be such good reminders that we’re planning to write a blog post about decorating with mirrors, and of course on how to hang them. Stay tuned and check back with us on that one in the coming weeks.
