How to protect your picture frames

Recycle cardboard corner protectors to protect your frames when storing them.

Since you possibly can’t have all of your artwork hanging on your walls all at once, where do you store your other picture frames? Under the bed (like I do)?  Behind the couch? In the back of a closet?

Wherever you store them, you need to protect the frames and corners so they don’t get scratched. There’s an easy solution — I recycled the corners of the cardboard corner protectors that come with the new frames I buy and use them when storing my older frames. Sometimes I shrink wrap them, but most of the time I just place corners on each piece before storing. This makes it easier to stack them without worrying about any damage. As you can see in my pink storage box, I have corners of different sizes from 1 inch to 2 inches to fit a variety of frame sizes. Of course you also buy them, but why not recycle and reuse if you can?
