How to hang a picture by yourself
Let’s face it, you don’t always have someone around to help you hang pictures. It’s all about owning the right tools to get the job done. That’s why we designed Hang & Level, a picture hanging tool that makes it easy to hang pictures exactly where you want without damaging your walls. Here’s how to hang a picture by yourself even when it’s heavy or awkward.

Find the right spot on the wall for your piece.

V-Shape finding the right placement

Holding the tool and frame on the wall, use a pencil to trace the V-shape notch at the top of the tool.

V-shape mark the spot

Remove both the tool and the frame from the wall and take the frame off the tool. Return just the tool on the wall, and line up the bottom of the V-notch with the mark you made.

V-shape replacing tool in place

Once it’s back in the same spot, press the button to mark exactly where the nail goes.  Hammer the nail in the mark, hang your frame, level it using the tool and you’re done!  You can watch a short video here to see how Hang & Level works.
