Are Your Identical Frames Really Identical?

It can happen to anyone. Not long ago we were out shopping for picture frames and bought three that were identical in size and color… or so we thought.

When we got home we noticed that one of the frames was whiter than the others — the other two were more off-white than a bright crisp white. Because large DIY stores usually have such high ceilings and the lighting is usually so bright we didn’t notice the difference in color. Because they were all sitting on the same shelf, we assumed they were all the same.

Since our plan was to hang the three frames together, we had to go back to the store to return the bright white frame and buy another off-white version.

Grrrr! It’s just one of those frustrating moments. So next time you’re out shopping, be sure to double check your frames so this doesn’t happen to you!
