Trend Alert: Whimsical Bookends

On a recent visit to a decorating store, I spotted some quirky bookends that would add a great touch of whimsy to any bookshelf or décor.

Incorporate fun bookends anywhere around the house where they’ll catch the eye and become real conversation pieces. On my visit to Steeling Home, a vintage store where they sell one-of-a-kind accessories, I found these bookends that would fit any style or budget. They would make very unique gifts too.

I have my eyes set on this red bike bookend set – my business partner who is an avid cyclist would love it.

These Eiffel tower bookends would proudly prop up books in style for any traveler.

French bulldog bookends would make a fun gift to a pet lover.

Use bookends together as a pair or split them up like Melissa, of The Inspired Room did when styling her kitchen shelves with bright turquoise horses. They sure add a vibrant pop of color to her white modern kitchen, and they’re such fun pieces to hold her cookbooks.

This dinosaur set would have house guests laughing at first sight.
