How do you take down a canvas picture after hanging it with CanvasHangers™?

We love getting questions from our customers, and here is one we got recently: “How do you take down a canvas picture after hanging it with CanvasHangers?”

This is a great question! It’s easy to remove canvas art hung with CanvasHangers™. First, gently pull the art away from the wall at the bottom of the piece. Slide your fingers between the canvas and the wall and move them upwards until you are at least half way to about ⅓ from the top of the canvas. Then, gently pull the canvas straight out from the wall. That’s it!

You can remove the pins from the hangers and push them into the holder on each hanger, so your canvas is safe to store until you want to hang it up again. You can even hang the canvas back up in the same holes for a secure hold.  

The pins leave two small holes in the wall about the size of a needle or push pin. You can quickly and easily cover them with paint.
