How-Tos and Inspiration
Fun and affordable, mirrors are a great alternative to hanging art on your walls they come in a wide array of shapes and sizes so you will be sure to find one to suit your space, style and budget. Here are a few tips and ideas on how to decorate your home with mirrors.
If hanging a holiday wreath on your front door is not an option and you still would like to welcome family and friends with a bit of holiday cheer, why not hang a wreath on a mirror (if you have one) in your entryway? A colorful wreath will add instant holiday flair to the entrance of your home. I like to off-center mine on the mirror to still allow myself and my guests to take a glimpse of ourselves when coming or leaving the house. Of course, you can also center it if you don't like the off-center look.
A mirror by the front door is a must. Not only does it allow you or your guests to take a glimpse at yourself before you head out; a mirror also reflects daylight so if you have a small entrance way it will make the space appear larger and brighter than it actually is. Try it, it really works!
